And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.  Mat 24:14

Missions is an exciting opportunity to be a part something bigger than ourselves and it is a privilege to be included in God’s plan to expand His Kingdom. We look forward to a time when all nations, peoples, and tongues will be praising and worshiping Him.

You, too, can be involved!   There are 5 roles to choose from.

Our cross-cultural efforts are listed below. Contact us for more information.

  • Church planting in the “10/40 Window”  (India and N. Africa)
  • Ministry in the Caribbean (Haiti and Jamaica)
  • Outreach to foreign university students (RUF at USF Tampa)

We have two Cornerstone missionary couples who are involved in local evangelism and discipleship.

  • Jason and Coleen Knecht with Help in Motion
  • John and Linda Mathewson with Priority Associates of Campus Crusade for Christ

Other local outreach is being done by Cornerstone’s Impact Weekend ministry.

Church Planting in The 10/40 Window

The 10/40 Window stretches from North Africa across to Asia and includes those regions of the eastern hemisphere located between 10 degrees and 40 degrees north of the equator.

  • Although this is only one-third of the total land area, half of the world’s people live there
  • Most of the least evangelized and unreached people in the world live there
  • It is also where the poorest of the poor people live

We support Paul Billy and Shirley Arnold in India.  Paul Billy pastors a local church and is the leader of an MTW church planting movement in southern India. Cornerstone has partnered with other PCA churches and formed an “India – Sri Lanka Partnership” to support this movement. The goal is to plant 1,000 churches in 10 years!   We also support a ministry to help street children in Bangalore through StreetChild International.  In N. Africa we support a couple who live in a restricted country where unreached people groups live.

Ministry to the Caribbean

We support Esaie and Natacha Etienne in Haiti. They lead a movement of church planting and theological education. They have founded Kingdom Mission International as a holistic ministry of the Church in Haiti.  Following the earthquake, they have been involved with relief and recovery effort. We also sponsor a child at Docine Christian School. This deepens our current involvement in Haiti. This support is through StreetChild International.
In Jamaica, we sponsor a child at the Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf. The support is a follow-up to our church mission trips to this school.

Outreach to Foreign University Students

We support Jeff and Jenny Lee who are with Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at the University of South Florida. The reach students from all over the world. Check out their website for more information.  www.usf.ruf.org
